UNFAMILIAR BUBBLE

ACCORD, NEW YORK

Yellow Studio’s first art installation, ‘Unfamiliar Bubble’ comprised of 25 inflatable, mirror-like spheres ranging from three to twenty feet in diameter, installed across ten acres of land at Mill Hook Residency. The architecture of the spheres’ and their thoughtful placement throughout the grounds produced a state of heightened awareness, creating endless possibilities of new encounters and understandings of one’s environment. Though offering a clear juxtaposition between manmade objects and nature’s serenity, the pieces worked in harmony with the land; Their textural and chromic qualities produced new inner worlds that enhanced human perception .
