Valorant Champions
Grand Finals

We brought the angular world of online game Valorant to life as a complex landscape of light inside Seoul’s INSPIRE Arena.

One of the world’s most popular esports, Valorant commands a global following, and its championship final demanded a stage that could match the game’s intensity and precision. Drawing from Valorant’s sharp-edged aesthetic, we created an immersive environment for both the live audience and global livestream viewers. Angular architectural forms, triangular and diamond-shaped structures, and a web of intricately programmed laser lights came together for the three-day spectacle. At the heart of the set stood a glowing central portal for team reveals, while multiple screens and integrated lifts delivered high-tech drama for the opening ceremony.

Strategic and technical considerations shaped every element of the design—from controlling surface reflections to avoid revealing gameplay to players, to supporting an opening ceremony and the three-day global broadcast of gameplay. More than a set, the stage was a live, responsive arena: part battlefield, part theatre, part cinematic spectacle.
