For the 2019 VMAs, we created a minimalistic landscape of video with robotic screens and augmented reality. The streaming, ever-changing images allowed the monolithic set to evolve and transform throughout the production with unprecedented flexibility and ease.
KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Play was the word of the day at the 2019 Kid’s Choice Awards, where the young audience cheered from elevated mosh pits, and an infinity pool of gooey green slime spilled
out along the award area. Video wrapped around gigantic stacked cubes, creating the illusion of non-stop movement - which mirrored and encouraged the exciting, frenetic energy of the evening.
Our set for the 2019 MTV EMAs in Seville, Spain was inspired by Seville’s vibrant, kaleidoscopic tiles and the renowned local celebrations that add further color to the city’s name. LED video screens replicated intricate tile artwork on the set’s ceiling, backdrop, and elongated runway stage. There were four stages in total -- a psychedelic quartet of platforms that aided in the inherent vibrancy of performances by artists such as Rosalía, Dua Lipa, Niall Horan and Halsey.
HOUSE OF GO
Nike commissioned us to design an experiential hub for the launch of their new Nike React sneaker. The shoe was playful, surprising, colorful, fun -- so, we created an immersive experience that was playful, surprising, colorful, hyper-sensory, and, most importantly (certainly when it comes to in-person brand experiences), fun.
